The funeral service to honor Annamma’s life will be held on the 19th of October, 2023, at 11 AM, at The Pentecostal Mission Church in Shanthi Nagar, Nandigudda, Mangalore. This will be a time for family and friends to come together to remember, celebrate, and pay their respects to a remarkable woman who has left an indelible mark on this world.

In Loving Memory of Mrs. Irene Puthranna (06 March 1952 – 17 October 2023)

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Mrs. Irene Puthranna, a devoted wife, loving mother, and cherished member of the UBM Jubilee Church in Udupi. She peacefully departed this world on the 17th of October, 2023, at the age of 71. Irene was the beloved wife of the late Mr. Wilson Puthranna, the daughter of the late Mrs. Margarat Karkada, and the proud mother of Heman and Suman. Her memory will forever live on in our hearts.

Irene was born on the 6th of March, 1952, in Udupi, India. Her life was a testament to unwavering faith, kindness, and unwavering love for her family and community. She was a pillar of strength and a source of inspiration for all who had the privilege of knowing her.

Her devotion to the UBM Jubilee Church in Udupi was exemplary, and she tirelessly contributed her time and efforts to the church community. Irene’s commitment to her faith was a guiding light for many, and her legacy of service will be remembered for generations to come.

Irene’s warmth and compassion extended beyond the walls of the church. She was a beloved friend, confidante, and mentor to countless individuals who sought her wisdom and support. Her home was always open, and her heart ever-welcoming. She had an uncanny ability to bring comfort to those in need and to share in the joys of others.

Irene’s role as a mother was one that she cherished most of all. She devoted herself wholeheartedly to her children, Heman and Suman, nurturing and guiding them with love, patience, and grace. To pay your respects and bid farewell to this remarkable woman, the mortal remains of Mrs. Irene Puthranna will be kept at the residence of the Karkada Compound, 5th Cross, near Patanjali Apartment, Mission Compound, Udupi. The funeral cortege will depart from the residence at 4:00 PM on the 18th of October, 2023, and proceed to the UBM Cemetery in Udupi, where Irene will be laid to rest at 4:30 PM.

Mrs. Suvasini, a devoted wife, loving mother, and a cherished friend, leaves behind a legacy of love, faith, and enduring kindness.

Suvasini was born into this world and lived a life brimming with grace, strength, and compassion. She was the cherished wife of the late Mr. James Jathanna, and together they shared a lifetime of memories, enduring love, and countless moments of joy. Her devotion to her family was unwavering, and she will always be remembered as a pillar of strength and wisdom.

Suvasini was a devout member of the CSI Christha Mahima Church in Manipura, where her faith was a source of inspiration to all who knew her. Her unwavering commitment to the church, her fellow parishioners, and her unshakable belief in the Lord served as an example for us all.

The mortal remains of Mrs. Suvasini Kanthi Jathanna will be laid to rest at the Residence “Glory,” which is located near the CSI Christha Mahima Church in Manipura. Friends and well-wishers are invited to pay their last respects at the residence.

A solemn funeral cortege will depart from the residence at 3:45 pm on the 15th of October, 2023, and proceed to the CSI Christha Mahima Church in Manipura. The final rites will be conducted at the Church Cemetery at 5:00 pm on the same day, where Mrs. Suvasini will find eternal peace beside her late husband, Mr. James Jathanna.

Mrs. Suvasini Kanthi Jathanna is survived by her loving son, Samuel Prakash Jathanna, and a host of family and friends who will forever cherish the memories of her warm smile, kind heart, and unwavering support. Her legacy of faith, love, and selflessness will continue to inspire and guide us.
