In Loving Memory of Mrs. Irene Puthranna (06 March 1952 – 17 October 2023)

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Mrs. Irene Puthranna, a devoted wife, loving mother, and cherished member of the UBM Jubilee Church in Udupi. She peacefully departed this world on the 17th of October, 2023, at the age of 71. Irene was the beloved wife of the late Mr. Wilson Puthranna, the daughter of the late Mrs. Margarat Karkada, and the proud mother of Heman and Suman. Her memory will forever live on in our hearts.

Irene was born on the 6th of March, 1952, in Udupi, India. Her life was a testament to unwavering faith, kindness, and unwavering love for her family and community. She was a pillar of strength and a source of inspiration for all who had the privilege of knowing her.

Her devotion to the UBM Jubilee Church in Udupi was exemplary, and she tirelessly contributed her time and efforts to the church community. Irene’s commitment to her faith was a guiding light for many, and her legacy of service will be remembered for generations to come.

Irene’s warmth and compassion extended beyond the walls of the church. She was a beloved friend, confidante, and mentor to countless individuals who sought her wisdom and support. To pay your respects and bid farewell to this remarkable woman, the mortal remains of Mrs. Irene Puthranna will be kept at the residence of the Karkada Compound, 5th Cross, near Patanjali Apartment, Mission Compound, Udupi. The funeral cortege will depart from the residence at 4:00 PM on the 18th of October, 2023, and proceed to the UBM Cemetery in Udupi, where Irene will be laid to rest at 4:30 PM.

She was the cherished wife of the late Mr. James Jathanna, and together they shared a lifetime of memories, enduring love, and countless moments of joy. Suvasini was a devout member of the CSI Christha Mahima Church in Manipura, where her faith was a source of inspiration to all who knew her. Her unwavering commitment to the church, her fellow parishioners, and her unshakable belief in the Lord served as an example for us all.

The mortal remains of Mrs. Suvasini Kanthi Jathanna will be laid to rest at the Residence “Glory,” which is located near the CSI Christha Mahima Church in Manipura. Friends and well-wishers are invited to pay their last respects at the residence.

A solemn funeral cortege will depart from the residence at 3:45 pm on the 15th of October, 2023, and proceed to the CSI Christha Mahima Church in Manipura. The final rites will be conducted at the Church Cemetery at 5:00 pm on the same day, where Mrs. Suvasini will find eternal peace beside her late husband, Mr. James Jathanna.

Mrs. Suvasini Kanthi Jathanna is survived by her loving son, Samuel Prakash Jathanna, and a host of family and friends who will forever cherish the memories of her warm smile, kind heart, and unwavering support. Her legacy of faith, love, and selflessness will continue to inspire and guide us.

On October 13, 2023, at the age of 73, she peacefully departed this world to be with the Lord, surrounded by her family and loved ones. She was born on January 8, 1950, and was the cherished wife of the late Lt. Sundar Soans.

Jasmine Premalatha was a woman of grace, faith, and devotion. She was not only a devoted member of her church but also a dedicated daughter, mother, grandmother, and friend. Her kindness, warm heart, and unwavering love touched the lives of everyone she met.

She is survived by her loving children, Merlyn Daphnia and Melwin Sudharshan, who were the pride and joy of her life. She was a guiding light in their lives, imparting valuable lessons and strong moral values. Mrs. Jasmine Premalatha’s family also included her daughter-in-law, Sneha, who was like a daughter to her, and her beloved granddaughter, Mishel Sweedol.

The mortal remains of Mrs. Jasmine Premalatha will be kept at the residence “Soans Compound, Chara Village, Hebri, Karkala Taluk” for friends and family to pay their respects. The funeral cortege will depart from her residence at 04:00 pm on October 14, 2023, heading to the CSI Immanuel Church in Hebri, where her final service will be held at 04:30 pm on the same day.
