It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Mrs. Jasmine Premalatha, a beloved member of the CSI Immanuel Church in Hebri, Udupi. On October 13, 2023, at the age of 73, she peacefully departed this world to be with the Lord, surrounded by her family and loved ones. She was born on January 8, 1950, and was the cherished wife of the late Lt. Sundar Soans.
Jasmine Premalatha was a woman of grace, faith, and devotion. She was not only a devoted member of her church but also a dedicated daughter, mother, grandmother, and friend. Her kindness, warm heart, and unwavering love touched the lives of everyone she met.
She is survived by her loving children, Merlyn Daphnia and Melwin Sudharshan, who were the pride and joy of her life. She was a guiding light in their lives, imparting valuable lessons and strong moral values. Mrs. Jasmine Premalatha’s family also included her daughter-in-law, Sneha, who was like a daughter to her, and her beloved granddaughter, Mishel Sweedol.
Mrs. Jasmine Premalatha’s legacy extended to her son-in-law, Anil Johnson Soans, who she embraced as a son. Her warm and welcoming nature made her a pillar of support for her family, always there to offer love, comfort, and guidance.
The mortal remains of Mrs. Jasmine Premalatha will be kept at the residence “Soans Compound, Chara Village, Hebri, Karkala Taluk” for friends and family to pay their respects. The funeral cortege will depart from her residence at 04:00 pm on October 14, 2023, heading to the CSI Immanuel Church in Hebri, where her final service will be held at 04:30 pm on the same day.
In this time of sorrow, we join together to celebrate the life of Mrs. Jasmine Premalatha, remembering her as a loving wife, a dedicated mother, a proud grandmother, a faithful friend, and a devout member of the church community.
