In loving memory of Lucy Jacinta Mathias, who was born on March 12, 1950, and peacefully departed this life on April 7, 2024. She was the beloved daughter of the late Salvadore Dsouza and the late Eugine Barboza from Moodubelle. Lucy was the devoted wife of Henery John Mathias and the loving mother of Krol Kevin Mathias and Minal Mathias (based in the USA). She cherished her role as grandmother to Ayaan K Mathias and Kabir K Mathias.
Lucy Jacinta Mathias, fondly remembered as a daughter, wife, mother, grandmother, and dear friend, was also the cherished daughter-in-law of Mrs. Maria Pinto. She shared a close bond with her extended family, including her sister-in-law Leena Mathias, and brothers-in-law Gilbert Mathias and Ezak Mayumi Mathias.
The funeral cortege to bid farewell to Lucy will leave from her residence at 106 Vishwas Pride, Udupa Compound, Udupi, on Tuesday, the 9th of April, at 3:30 pm. A solemn mass will follow at 4:00 pm at the Mother of Sorrows Church, Udupi.
