Obituary: Christopher Devaprasad Bangera (1954 – 2024)
Christopher Devaprasad Bangera, beloved husband of Rita Bangera and father of Prashanth and Alwyn, passed away peacefully on April 13, 2024, at the age of 69. He was a man of unwavering faith and integrity, known for his commitment to family, community, and faith.
Born on December 12, 1954, in Mangalore, Christopher grew up in a close-knit family environment that instilled in him strong values of compassion and hard work. He was deeply devoted to his wife, Rita, and cherished his role as a father to Prashanth and Alwyn.
Christopher was an active member of the CSI Vishranthi Church in Bokkapatna, where he found spiritual solace and served diligently in various capacities. His faith was the cornerstone of his life, guiding him through both joyous and challenging times.
Professionally, Christopher was esteemed for his dedication and diligence. He exemplified the spirit of perseverance and excellence in his work. His contributions were valued by colleagues and peers alike.
Outside of work and church, Christopher was a man of varied interests. He enjoyed spending time with family, gardening, and engaging in community activities. His warmth and generosity touched many lives, and he was always ready to extend a helping hand to those in need.

The mortal remains of Christopher Devaprasad Bangera will be kept at the residence “Emmanuel Villa,” Bangera Compound, YM K Sawmill Road, Shediguri Ashokanagar, Mangalore. The funeral cortege will depart from his residence at 10:45 AM on April 14, 2024, proceeding to the Mannagudda Cemetery for the final rites at 11:00 AM.
In his passing, we celebrate a life well-lived and find solace in knowing that Christopher has found eternal rest in the embrace of the Lord whom he faithfully served.
