Born on December 16th, 1959, Sunil was a devoted husband to Catherine Shilbhadra and a loving father to his three sons: Keith, Kevin, and Shawn. His passing marks the conclusion of a life rich in love, faith, and service to others.
Sunil’s life began in Mangalore, a city he loved deeply and where he spent his entire life. He married Catherine, and together they built a home filled with warmth, love, and a strong commitment to their family and faith. Their marriage was a shining example of partnership and devotion, and together they raised their three sons in an environment rooted in strong values and unwavering support. Keith, Kevin, and Shawn each brought their own joy to Sunil’s life, and he was incredibly proud of the men they became. He also cherished his daughters-in-law, Bettina George, Ruby Sunny, and Julieanne Prabhakar, welcoming them into the family with open arms and a generous heart.
Sunil was the proud owner of Shilbhadra Gas Agency, a business he built and ran with dedication and integrity. His work ethic and commitment to quality made him a respected figure in the business community. Even after his retirement, the reputation he built continued to speak volumes about his character and professionalism.
A man of deep faith, Sunil was an active member of the Mangalore Christian Assembly, where his belief in God was the cornerstone of his life. His faith guided him in all aspects of his life, from his personal relationships to his professional endeavors. Sunil was known for his kindness, generosity, and willingness to help others, qualities that made him a cherished member of his church community and beyond. The funeral services will be held on September 2nd, 2024. The mortal remains will be brought to the family residence at Twin No. 1, Mission Compound, Balmatta, Mangalore, where family and friends can pay their respects. The funeral cortege will depart from the residence at 11:00 AM and proceed to Jeppu Christian Cemetery, with the service set to begin at 11:30 AM.
