Born on the 23rd of April, 1930, Nancy graced this world with her presence, bringing joy and warmth wherever she went. She was the beloved wife of Charles Soans, and together, they built a life filled with love, laughter, and enduring companionship. As a devoted mother, Nancy's nurturing spirit touched the lives of her children, Jeevan Maben, Prakash Soans, Monica Vilasini, Roshan Soans, and Amitha Salins, instilling in them values of compassion, integrity, and resilience. Nancy found solace and strength in her faith as a dedicated member of the CSI Kanthi Church in Jeppu, where she found kinship and solace in the embrace of her spiritual family. Her unwavering commitment to her beliefs served as a guiding light, inspiring those around her to embrace compassion, forgiveness, and grace. Throughout her life, Nancy's kindness knew no bounds. Her gentle demeanor, genuine smile, and unconditional love touched the hearts of all who had the privilege of knowing her. She was a pillar of strength in times of adversity, offering comfort, support, and unwavering faith to those in need. The mortal remains of Nancy Mabel Soans will be respectfully kept at the family residence, "Prakash," located in the Jeppu Mission Compound, 2nd Lane Jeppu, Mangalore. A funeral cortege will depart from her residence at 10:45 AM on the 7th of April, 2024, proceeding to the Jeppu Cemetery for the final rites at 11:00 AM.
