It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of a beloved husband, father, and cherished member of our community, Godwin Stanley Pallat. He peacefully departed from this world on September 4, 2023, at the age of 80, and is now in the loving embrace of the Lord.
Godwin, lovingly known as Stan, was born on August 18, 1943, in a small, close-knit community near Udupi. He was the beloved husband of Emily Joyce Pallat and the proud father of two wonderful sons, Leander Santhosh and Leonard Harsha.
Throughout his 80 fulfilling years on this earth, Stan touched the lives of countless individuals with his kindness, warmth, and unwavering faith. He was a pillar of strength for his family and a friend to all who had the privilege of knowing him.
The funeral cortege will leave from the residence, “Bethlehem,” located at Police Parade Ground, Near Mission Compound, Udupi, on Tuesday, September 5, 2023, at 4:00 pm. It will proceed to the Basel Mission Cemetery in Udupi, where Stan will be laid to rest. The funeral service will commence at 4:30 pm, where friends and family will gather to pay their final respects and celebrate his remarkable life.
