In Loving Memory of Mrs. Gulabi Devadasi Maben (24 October 1934 – 24 October 2023)

It is with heavy hearts that we come together to remember and celebrate the life of a beloved member of our community, Mrs. Gulabi Devadasi Maben. She was born on the 24th of October in the year 1934, and her life journey on this Earth came to a peaceful conclusion on her 90th birthday, the 24th of October in 2023. Mrs. Gulabi Devadasi Maben, lovingly referred to as ‘Gulabi Amma,’ was the devoted wife of the late Mr. Victor Maben, and she has now joined him in eternal rest.

Mrs. Gulabi Devadasi Maben was not only a wife, but also a cherished member of the CSI Bethanya Church in Karkala, where her faith and devotion touched the lives of many. Her enduring spirit, kindness, and dedication to her church and community left a lasting impact on all those who had the privilege of knowing her.

To pay our final respects and bid farewell to Mrs. Gulabi Devadasi Maben, her mortal remains will be laid to rest at her residence, the “Maben Compound,” located on Jayanthinagara 5th Cross, Karkala. Family and friends are invited to join in this solemn occasion. The funeral cortege will depart from her residence at 10:00 AM on Wednesday, the 25th of October 2023, making its way to the Bethanya Church Cemetery, where the final rites will be conducted at 10:30 AM.

As we gather to say our goodbyes and honor the memory of Mrs. Gulabi Devadasi Maben, we also find solace in the knowledge that her soul has found peace with the Lord. She leaves behind a legacy of love, faith, and kindness that will forever resonate within our hearts.
