In loving memory of Josephine Salins, a cherished mother, grandmother, and esteemed member of the community, who graced this world with her presence from October 31, 1936, to April 1, 2024. Her life, spanning 87 years, was a testament to love, strength, and unwavering faith.
Josephine, fondly remembered as the beloved mother of Jennifer, the late Roland, Saroja, and Osmond, and the cherished grandmother of Jovian, the late Jocelyn, Jovita, Jeffrey, Sven, Tina, Caleb, Sharel, and Ankitha. She was a beacon of love and guidance to her family, nurturing them with her wisdom and kindness.
In addition to her immediate family, Josephine was blessed with devoted daughters-in-law, Colleen and Jyothi, and esteemed sons-in-law, the late Jaya Soans and Viju Kotian, who enriched her life with their love and companionship.
Josephine’s life was deeply rooted in faith, and she was an active member of the C.S.I. Jubilee Church in Udupi, where her presence was a source of strength and inspiration to many.
The mortal remains of Josephine Salins will be honored and remembered at her residence, “Mandavi Galaxy Apartment,” located at 1st Main, 5th Cross, Mission Compound, Udupi. Family and friends are invited to pay their respects.
A solemn funeral cortege will depart from her residence at 3:45 PM on April 3, 2024, proceeding to the Udupi Cemetery, where Josephine will be laid to rest at 4:00 PM, marking her final journey on this earthly plane. It will be a time to reflect on her life, to celebrate her legacy, and to find solace in the memories she leaves behind.
