Obituary: Mrs. Nancy Victoria Maben (1935-2024)
It is with deep sorrow and profound reverence that we announce the passing of Mrs. Nancy Victoria Maben, a beloved member of the community, who departed peacefully to be with the Lord on April 7, 2024, at the age of 89. She leaves behind cherished memories and an enduring legacy that will continue to inspire all who knew her.
Nancy was born on September 8, 1935, and grew up in a close-knit family environment. She was the loving wife of the late Lt. Jesudas Maben and a devoted mother to her children Stanley J. Maben, Prabhavathi Kunder, Godwin Maben, and Steevan Maben. Her life was marked by a profound dedication to her family, faith, and community.
A faithful member of CSI Christa Jyothi Church in Korangrapady, Nancy’s faith was the cornerstone of her life. She actively participated in church activities, where her kindness and generosity touched many lives. Her commitment to serving others and her unwavering faith in God served as an inspiration to all who crossed her path.
Nancy was known for her warm and welcoming demeanor, always ready to extend a helping hand to those in need. Her home, “Shalome” near Kalakiran Club, 4th Cross, 76 Badagubettu Bailore, Udupi, was a place of solace and hospitality for friends and family alike.
The mortal remains of Mrs. Nancy Victoria Maben will be kept at her residence, where friends and well-wishers may pay their final respects. The funeral cortege will depart from her residence at 4:00 PM on Wednesday, April 10, 2024, proceeding to the Udupi Cemetery for the funeral service at 4:30 PM.
